About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end regional network field execution across assigned hyperscale data centers, carrier-neutral colocation points of presence, overseeing third-party vendor performance across high-density structured fiber builds, Layer 1–3 hardware installations, decommissioning, and 24x7 break-fix dispatches.
  • Lead defined global program workstreams using structured program management artifacts including project charters, work breakdown structures, milestone roadmaps and risk registers.
  • Oversee regional vendor readiness, site ownership, and service quality by conducting on-site technical field audits, validating optical and hardware standards, and enforcing Environmental Health and Safety compliance.
  • Drive operational, commercial, financial, and queue discipline across your allocated region, ensuring services meet strict SLAs, and statements of work, purchase orders, monthly accruals, invoicing, and dispatch queues are well maintained.
  • Collaborate with Capacity Delivery, Supply Chain, and other partner teams to improve processes that remove execution blockers, avoid delays, and increase velocity.
