Company Overview:

The company was started by Nik Baron who was the first growth hire at Grammarly(currently a $5bn+ company) and ex founder of a top SEO agency in Silicon Valley. After recognizing growth was nuanced and from getting inbounds, he and Arian Razzaghi (ex Facebook, ex product growth at largest real estate marketplace in LATAM that exited) partnered together to rethink growth and provide an advisory service to select clients that have mission driven companies.

Alba is has distributed culture, mainly working out of the Americas timezone. We strive to be diverse in thinking, in hiring, and in how we tackle problems. We believe that operating excellently for our clients is our number one priority. Our current structure is set up so there is limited hierarchy and more agency for each individual to contribute to the growth of Alba’s future.

Our belief:

SEO is a long-term game. Unlike paid search, organic results take time to show results. It’s usually a culmination of small efforts. To use a metaphor, SEO is like a mutual fund slowly building over time. It’s not the stock market, where you see gains and losses in real time. This can be helpful to mention when clients expect quick results.

Some “solutions” to fix a low ranking include technical SEO and content marketing. However, developing a long-term strategy that focuses on three to four initiatives at a time is even more important.
