Responsibilities:

Review existing dashboards (in OBIEE or Tableau), understand the data models.

behind and formulas, gather inputs from all stakeholders, interview business stakeholders and executives to understand the analytical needs and challenge existing dashboards, translate needs into functional and technical requirement documents.

Design solutions to meet business requirements leveraging and enhancing existing data infrastructure.

Implement design using Power BI, Azure, SQL and other technologies on data platform.

Create, review, and analyze complex business metrics as required, with appealing visuals and data accuracy.

 

Must Haves:

 Knowledge of agile methodology (Scrum) – can manage people/projects.

Understanding of Azure Modeling.

Proven track record in PowerBI intermediate/advanced developments.

Proficiency in DAX, SQL query, and PowerBI advanced features, proficiency with data modeling

2-3 years of work experience with Azure Analysis Services.

1-2 years experience with Azure Synapse, Visual studio, Tabular editor, and Azure DevOps tools.

Proven conceptual, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels, technical as well as non-technical stakeholders

Capacity to interview business stakeholders, and translate business needs to functionals and technical specifications

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and deliver with high quality, Excellent in time-management and delivering on-time and on-budget, proactive in offering best and most performant solutions

Team player, works independently, adapts well to fast-paced projects and in an agile framework, very flexible.

 

Nice to Haves:

Knowledge of ETL (extract, transform, load), OBIEE and Tablea.
